Keep your engine running clean and strong
Oil Change & Lube in Dallas, TX
Regular oil changes are the single most important thing you can do to extend the life of your engine. At DallasAutoCarePros, every oil change includes a fresh filter, the oil grade recommended by your manufacturer, and a complimentary 21-point vehicle inspection.
About This Service
Your engine has hundreds of moving parts generating extreme heat and friction. Fresh, clean oil is the only thing protecting those parts from grinding each other down. Skipping oil changes or going too long between services leads to sludge buildup, increased wear, poor fuel economy, and eventually catastrophic engine failure. We make oil changes fast, affordable, and thorough so you never have to think twice about keeping up with this critical maintenance.
What's Included
Every oil change & lube service at DallasAutoCarePros is thorough and transparent. Here is exactly what you get.
Full Synthetic Oil Change
We offer conventional, synthetic blend, and full synthetic oil. Our technicians will recommend the right grade based on your vehicle manufacturer specifications and driving conditions.
Oil Filter Replacement
Every oil change includes a brand-new oil filter to keep contaminants out of your fresh oil. We use OEM-spec filters that meet or exceed your manufacturer requirements.
21-Point Courtesy Inspection
While your oil drains, we check tire pressure and tread depth, fluid levels (coolant, brake, transmission, power steering, washer), belts, hoses, battery terminals, lights, wipers, and air filter condition.
Fluid Top-Off
If any of your other fluids are low during our inspection, we will top them off at no extra charge. This includes washer fluid, coolant, and power steering fluid.
Tire Pressure Check
We check and adjust all four tires to the pressure specified on your door jamb sticker. Proper tire pressure improves fuel economy, handling, and tire lifespan.
Warning Signs to Watch For
If you notice any of these symptoms, bring your vehicle in as soon as possible. Early attention prevents expensive repairs.
Our Oil Change & Lube Process
Here is exactly what happens when you bring your vehicle in for oil change & lube service.
Check-In & Consultation
We review your vehicle history, check your owner manual for the recommended oil type and weight, and discuss your driving habits to determine the best oil for your needs.
Drain & Replace
We lift your vehicle, remove the drain plug, and let the old oil fully drain. We remove the old filter, install a new OEM-spec filter, replace the drain plug with a fresh washer, and fill with the correct amount and grade of oil.
Inspect & Top Off
While the oil drains, we run through our 21-point inspection. We check every major system under the hood and underneath the vehicle, topping off any low fluids and noting anything that needs attention.
Verify & Reset
We start the engine, check for leaks, verify the oil level on the dipstick, and reset your oil life monitor. You get a report of everything we checked and any recommendations for future service.

Oil Change & Lube FAQ
Common questions about oil change & lube service. Have a question not listed here? Call us at (214) 555-0187.
How often should I change my oil?
For most modern vehicles using full synthetic oil, every 7,500 to 10,000 miles or once a year is sufficient. If you use conventional oil, every 3,000 to 5,000 miles is recommended. If you do a lot of stop-and-go city driving, tow heavy loads, or drive in extreme heat (hello, Dallas summers), you may want to change more frequently. We will give you a specific recommendation based on your vehicle and driving habits.
What is the difference between synthetic and conventional oil?
Synthetic oil is engineered in a lab to have uniform molecular structure, which means it flows better in cold temperatures, resists breakdown at high temperatures, and lasts longer between changes. Conventional oil is refined from crude petroleum and is less consistent but more affordable. Synthetic blend is a mix of both. For most modern engines, we recommend full synthetic because it provides better protection and longer change intervals, which offsets the higher cost per quart.
How long does an oil change take?
A standard oil change at our shop takes about 25 to 35 minutes, including the 21-point inspection. If we find something during the inspection that we want to bring to your attention, we will come talk to you before doing anything else. Most customers are in and out in under 45 minutes.
Can I switch from conventional to synthetic oil?
Absolutely. Switching to synthetic oil is perfectly safe for any engine and does not void any warranties. In fact, many manufacturers now require or recommend synthetic oil from the factory. Once you switch, you cannot go back to conventional, but there is no reason you would want to — synthetic is better in every measurable way.
