About This Service

A set of four quality tires is a significant investment — often $400 to $1,200 depending on the vehicle. Proper maintenance can extend tire life by 20,000 miles or more, saving you hundreds of dollars. More importantly, worn, underinflated, or misaligned tires compromise your ability to steer, stop, and maintain control in emergency situations. Dallas roads are full of potholes that knock alignments out of spec, and our hot summers accelerate tire wear. Regular rotation, balancing, and alignment checks keep your tires wearing evenly and your vehicle handling predictably.

What's Included

Every tire service & alignment service at DallasAutoCarePros is thorough and transparent. Here is exactly what you get.

1

Tire Mounting & Balancing

We mount new tires with care to avoid bead damage, use new valve stems, and precision-balance every wheel on our computerized balancer. Proper balance eliminates vibration and prevents uneven wear patterns.

2

Tire Rotation

We rotate tires in the pattern specified by your vehicle manufacturer to equalize wear across all four positions. Regular rotation extends tire life significantly and maintains even traction.

3

Computerized Four-Wheel Alignment

Using laser-guided alignment equipment, we measure and adjust camber, caster, and toe angles to your manufacturer specifications. We print a before-and-after report showing the exact adjustments made.

4

Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPMS)

We service and reprogram TPMS sensors when installing new tires. If a TPMS warning light is on, we can diagnose whether it is a sensor battery issue, a damaged sensor, or an actual pressure problem.

5

Flat Tire Repair

For repairable punctures in the tread area, we remove the tire, inspect from the inside, apply a combination plug-patch repair that meets industry standards, and rebalance the wheel.

Warning Signs to Watch For

If you notice any of these symptoms, bring your vehicle in as soon as possible. Early attention prevents expensive repairs.

Vehicle pulls to one side on a flat, straight road
Steering wheel is off-center when driving straight
Uneven tire wear — one edge wearing faster than the other
Steering wheel vibrates at highway speeds (typically 55-70 mph)
Tires are making a humming or roaring noise that changes with speed
Visible sidewall bulge, cracking, or exposed cords
TPMS warning light is illuminated on the dashboard
Tread depth is at or below 4/32 of an inch

Our Tire Service & Alignment Process

Here is exactly what happens when you bring your vehicle in for tire service & alignment service.

01

Inspection & Measurement

We inspect all four tires for wear patterns, damage, and remaining tread depth. We check tire pressure and look for signs of alignment problems (feathering, cupping, one-sided wear).

02

Service Recommendation

Based on the inspection, we recommend the appropriate service — rotation only, balance, alignment, or tire replacement. If new tires are needed, we help you select the right tire for your vehicle and driving needs.

03

Precision Work

We perform the service using computerized equipment for accuracy. Alignment adjustments are measured in fractions of a degree. Balance weights are placed to within 0.25 ounces. Torque wrenches set lug nuts to exact specification.

04

Test Drive & Report

After alignment, we road test to verify the vehicle tracks straight, the steering wheel is centered, and there is no pull. You receive a printed alignment report showing before-and-after measurements.

Tire Service & Alignment FAQ

Common questions about tire service & alignment service. Have a question not listed here? Call us at (214) 555-0187.

How often should I rotate my tires?

Every 5,000 to 7,500 miles is the standard recommendation. An easy way to remember is to rotate your tires with every other oil change. Regular rotation ensures all four tires wear evenly, which extends overall tire life and maintains consistent traction. Skipping rotations can result in your front tires wearing out twice as fast as the rears.

How do I know if I need an alignment?

Common signs include the vehicle pulling to one side, off-center steering wheel, or uneven tire wear patterns. You should also get an alignment after hitting a large pothole or curb, after installing new tires, or after any suspension work. Even without symptoms, we recommend an alignment check once a year because small changes accumulate and cause premature tire wear.

What causes steering wheel vibration?

At highway speeds (55-70 mph), the most common cause is an out-of-balance tire or a tire with a shifted belt (internal defect). At lower speeds, it could be a bent wheel or warped brake rotor. If the vibration only happens when braking, the cause is almost certainly the brake rotors. We can quickly determine the source with a test drive and visual inspection.

Can a tire with a nail in it be repaired?

It depends on the location and size of the puncture. Punctures in the center tread area that are smaller than 1/4 inch can be repaired with a combination plug-patch from the inside of the tire. Punctures in the sidewall, shoulder area, or any damage that exposes the internal cords cannot be safely repaired and the tire must be replaced. We always remove the tire and inspect from the inside to make the right call.
